The Lid Loft

The Lid Loft is an artisanal kitchen product that solves the age old issue of finding a place to set those hot, messy pot lids. Made from hand finished stainless steel. Lid Loft is a product I designed in school. I had an assignment to design a product to make life easier. We were asked to think of something in our lives that we had a problem with and solve that problem. For me, I had an issue with our counter space when I was cooking. We had a small kitchen and I had no where to set our pot lid when using the stove due to all the plates and ingredients all over it. I would resort to setting it in the sink or on a spare stove burner which made quite the mess. That's when it hit me. I thought what if there was a product mounted on the wall to hold pot lids so I wouldn't have to find a place to set them. Also what if it held the lid upside down to keep all of those food spatters and condensation in it. That's when the Lid Loft was born. I went through several versions and ended with the design you see today. The Lid Loft isn't a product that will change the world but my hope is that it makes peoples lives just a little bit easier and fun to use. I'm telling you once you use Lid Loft you will not want to cook without one.
